A former police officer was shot dead this Monday morning in Lac city of Albania. The victim is Xhelal Reci 60-years-old former police officer - state police informed. According to the information issued, the event happened at 07:23 am this morning near a bank in Lac.

Dozens of police officers arrived in the area to control the area and search for perpetrator(s). At the same time the Quick Intervention Forces arrived in the scene and set up checkpoints to further control the area.
