Two people have been handcuffed, while 41 kg of narcotics have been seized this Tuesday morning in Fushe-Kruje. 

Official sources from the police informed that within the operation codenamed "Nikla", citizens with the initials M.B., 40 years old and G.T., 40 years old, both residents of Nikël, were arrested. 

The Police Services, based on the information received during the police operation, on the road axis Nikël-Tapizë, located and blocked the vehicle with which it was suspected that the narcotics were transported. 

From the control of the arrested persons and of the vehicle type "Volkswagen" in which they were traveling, were found 4 plastic bags with suspected narcotic substance cannabis sativa, weighing 41 kilograms. 

Narcotics, a vehicle and 2 mobile phones were seized as material evidence. In cooperation with the Prosecution, work continues to identify and apprehend other persons implicated in this criminal activity. The materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office, for further actions, for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics".
