GJKKO Seizes Assets of Berisha's Son-in-Law

The son-in-law of the former prime minister Sali Berisha was arrested on Saturday evening, while the seizure of his assets was requested by order of SPAK (Special Prosecution against Corruption and Organized Crime). 

The Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime (GJKKO) in Tirana has imposed the property insurance measure "preventive sequestration", for 25 real estates owned by him and his wife, Argita Malltezi, among them 6 bank accounts. 

In addition to the apartments and a villa, the document clarifies that three companies have also been seized, namely Homeplan shpk, where Jamarbër Malltezi has 45% of the shares, Magnet IMO shpk where it has 100% of the shares and Magnet Gym and Fit, where has 60% of the shares.

The amount of 45% of the share capital of the company Homeplan shpk in the name of the citizen Jamarbër Malltezi. 

The measure of 100% of the share capital of the company Magnet Imo in the name of the citizen Jamarbër Malltezi. 

The amount of 60% of the share capital of the company Magnet Gym& Fit in the name of the citizen Jamarbër Malltezi.
