Heads of KESH and Road Authority Appear at SPAK as Security Measures Issued
The heads of two key state institutions, Erald Elezi of the Albanian Power Corporation (KESH) and Gentian Gjyli of the Albanian Road Authority (ARRSH), appeared this Saturday morning at the Special Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime (GJKKO), where they are expected to be informed of the security measures imposed against them.
The Special Court has issued house arrest orders for both officials, who serve under Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Belinda Balluku.
A hearing is scheduled for 09:00 today at the Special Court, during which judges will question Balluku, Gjyli and Elezi and verify the conditions of their respective security measures. The proceedings form part of an ongoing investigation overseen by SPAK into alleged abuses within the infrastructure and energy sectors.
