Albert Pasha was arrested this Tuesday by order of the Special Prosecution against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK), after being accused of paying Henrik Hoxhajn and Skerdi Tase to kill Aredin Behar in 2019.

Local media reported that Pashaj had ordered the murder of Behar for property reasons, but the assassination attempt failed twice.

The two unsuccessful attempts were carried out in 2017 and 2019. The first time as an executioner was Tasi, at that moment the target was in a bar, but escaped the bullets by lying on the ground.

The second time, due to a problem with the weapon, the attempt carried out by Hoxhaj failed.

"Special Prosecutor's Office Against Corruption and Organized Crime has conducted investigations within the framework of criminal proceedings no. 75/2022, registered for the criminal offenses of "Premeditated murder", "Theft with a weapon", "Theft with violence", " Destruction of property with explosives", "Providing conditions and material means to commit murder", "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", "Structured criminal group" and "Participation in a structured criminal group ” etc., provided by articles 78/2, 139, 140, 80, 152, 278/1, 28/4, 333/a and 334 of the Criminal Code.

After carrying out numerous investigative actions, at the request of the Special Prosecutor's Office, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime with decision No. 72 dated 25.06.2023 decided:

• The assignment of the measure of personal security "arrest in prison", provided by article 238 of the Penal Code, to the person under investigation A. P., suspected of committing the criminal offense of "Premeditated murder", committed for interest, in cooperation, remaining in the attempt, carried out to the detriment of A.B., twice, (on 05.11.2017 and 03.04.2019), in the city of Fier, in cooperation with the investigators H.H. and S.T., provided by articles 78/2, 22, 25 of the Criminal Code.

This decision was executed by the General Directorate of the State Police on 26.06.2023.

The investigations showed that, due to the continuous conflicts between the brothers A.P. and the injured party A.B., the investigator A.P. decided to kill the citizen A.B. in 2017. In order to achieve this goal, he contacted the investigator H.H. to carry out the killing of citizen A. B. against payment. The citizen H.H., having undertaken to carry out this action, contacted his relation, the investigator S.T., in order to commit the murder together (H.H. and S.T. are currently under arrest). H.H. and S.T. after agreeing to commit the murder of citizen A. B. against payment, secured the crime weapon, observed the victim and determined the executor who would be S. T. on 05.11.2017. For reasons that did not depend on the will of the investigators H. H. and S. T. the murder of A.B. it was not possible to finalize, as the target immediately spotted them and lay on the ground.

But the customer A.P. it didn't stop there. The investigated A. P. wanted to finalize the crime started in 2017 and in 2019 (murder of citizen A. B.) by bringing the payment to 80,000 euros.

For this reason, the investigators H.H. and S.T., reorganized, finding the vehicle, the crime weapon and after observing the target (A.B.) on 04.03.2019, decided to kill the citizen. The executor in this case was decided to be H.H., since the first time the investigator S.T. did not complete successfully.

Fortunately for the victim (citizen A.B.), the crime was not completed in this case as well, as investigators H.H., after the first shot, the Kalashnikov automatic weapon was blocked", informed the SPAK.
