The parliamentary Committee of Foreign Affairs held a hearing session online with the candidate for Ambassador of Albania in the Republic of North Macedonia, Denion Meidani.

The last said that North Macedonia, is not only a good neighbour for Albania, but even a partner and an ally for the joint road toward EU integration.

In his speech in front of the members of the committee, Meidani said that his priorities will be strengthening regional cooperation and advancing relations between the two countries.

"The agreements signed between the two governments have not only further institutionalized our relations, but have influenced and will continue to significantly influence, the improvement and facilitation of the lives of our citizens. We should consider the collaboration as a success story. With the right vision and courage, serious reforms are being undertaken together. Regional cooperation will be my priority. The relations between our two countries are an example of cooperation in the region and I promise that I will be committed to advancing these relations further", said Meidani.
