Mayor Erion Veliaj gave good news for the farmers of the villages of Tirana, when he said that the new agri-food market will be opened this month. 

According to him, in this market it will be possible for citizens to buy organic products at cheaper prices.

"This month we want to open the new agro-food market. Even the opposition is eagerly waiting for the market to open. At the end of the month, we finish the call and close the contracts of all those who are transferred to the public market, and I believe that we will have an extraordinary opportunity to turn the market into an opportunity to finance seeds, and to subsidize some products that we want let's push them even more. Today, we have the Baldushku turkey, the Lundra wine, the Ndroqi oil or the Shëngjergji tomato brand," said Veliaj.

The mayor underlined that if Krraba was still a municipality and had not joined the greater Tirana, the new road would not have been built.
