New Details on Man Who Bought and Use Little Boy Revealed
New details have been revealed Thursday regarding the arrest of 55-year-old Kujtim Demiri in the Patisia neighborhood of Athens, after the Greek police executed an arrest warrant issued by Interpol Tirana for the person sentenced to 15 years in prison, for the criminal offense "Trafficking of minors", carried out in cooperation.
Greek and Albanian authorities are finalizing the procedures for Demir's extradition, while the Hellenic media reported that the 55-year-old illegally crossed from Albania to Greece as a minor citizen and forced him to beg around 1 year.
Fate of the trafficked child is not yet known, but the details of how Demiri "bought" him in Tirana are unprecedented.
According to the Greek media, Demiri "bought" the 8-year-old child from a poor family in Tirana. It is learned that he paid 100,000 new ALL (about 900 EUR) to take the minor.
Then, he illegally and violently transported the 8-year-old to Athens, where he forced him to beg in the central parts of the Greek capital.
