Opposition Changes Rally's Strategy Outside Prime Minister’s Office

Supporters of the Democeratic Party will gather again Saturday outside the office of Prime Minister Edi Rama, staging what organizers described as the opposition’s fifth nationwide protest.

Sources confirmed for albaniandailynews.com that demonstration will not include speeches, with protesters expected to “speak more through actions” than words.

Unlike previous protests held along the main boulevard, vehicle traffic in the area continued to circulate normally, and organizers did not set up a podium.

Security measures were visibly tightened around the Prime Minister’s Office. The building’s doors were reinforced, the lighting installation was covered, and metal fencing was being erected around the premises.

Prime Minister’s Office is the primary target of the protest, although organizers did not rule out the possibility of moving toward other institutions.

Meanwhile, the State Police said it would not assume responsibility for guaranteeing the smooth conduct of the gathering, citing violent incidents that occurred during a previous rally.
