Opposition MPs Join Protest at Tirana Municipality

The opposition MPs left the Thursday's parliamentary session to join the protest in front of Tirana Municipality. 

The democrats Edmond Spaho, Lefter Geshtenja, Belind Kellici and Luciano Boci joined the protesters along with the daughter of the historical leader of the Democratic Party, Argita Malltezi. 

The opposition councillors of the municipality, tried to enter with force, but were stopped by the police officers who required help to control the angry crowd.

This is the second protest called by the opposition against Tirana's Mayor Erion Veliaj.

They accuse him as a liar, for protecting his corrupted directors arrested by the Special Prosecution (SPAK) for duty abuse part of the '5D' file.
