Opposition Seeks Albin Kurti's Resignation Over Recent Scandal
After the publication of an audio recording of the head of the parliamentary group of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Mimoza Kusari Lila, where she communicates with the senior official of the Serbian list Slavko Simic, as well as talks about Kusari Lila's contacts with Milan Radoicic, a criminal sanctioned by the United States of America, there were harsh reactions from the Opposition.
The former prime minister of Kosovo, Avdulla Hoti, wrote on his Facebook profile that the fraud came to an end and it was shown who the government of Kosovo is cooperating with.
While the Head of the Parliamentary Group of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Besnik Tahiri declared that the least that Albin Kurti's government should do is to resign.
"Today's eavesdropping is very serious, not because this conversation was published, but because it reveals an agreement that has been an agreement since the first day of this government. The second thing that we must first treat seriously is that the topics that were discussed in this meeting are of state interest and the violations are flagrant both in terms of law and morality. We as AAK demand responsibility from the prime minister to give us clarifications about these interceptions. Resignation is the least that should happen, this shows the true face of this government", Tahiri stressed.
Chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, wrote on Facebook, mocking Albin Kurti that whether the cooperation with Milan Radoj?i? was coordinated or not, while the Head of the PDK Parliamentary Group, Abelard Tahiri called on the Prosecutor's Office in Kosovo to start immediately investigations.
Even the deputy of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Dorsa Kica Xhelili, has ironized Albin Kurti, saying that the question is not about coordination or no coordination, but who you coordinate with.
