Peqin: Prisoner Found Hanged, Dies in Hospital
A prisoner in Peqin prison was found hanged in his cell. The case regards the citizen Astrit Pukmeta, who was arrested about a week ago for threats, serious injuries and hostage-taking.
The prisoner was given first aid in the cell by the guards and then he was transported to the hospital in Peqin, where he died.
Pukmeta had a conflict for about a week with citizens V. K. and I. M. and sprayed them with oil, trying to burn them.
After the conflict with these two, he went to a shop where he had a conflict with the seller of the shop, the citizen Bardhyl Petja, and wounded him with a knife. Near the shop, under the threat of a knife, he took the citizen Arjan Shau hostage together with his car, and left in the direction of Rrogozhina.
In the village of Lekaj, citizen Arjan Shau, tried to divert the car, and entered the parking lot of a gas station, and citizen Astrit Pukameka stabbed him.
After getting out of the car, he approached the residence of the fuel employee, took the amount of daily turnover, and at the moment when the Police services arrived, he threatened to burn the fuel.
