Prime Minister Edi Rama has asked Saturday the Special Prosecution against Organized Crime and Corruption (SPAK) to investigate former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, President Ilir Meta and the magistrates dismissed by the vetting. 

From the SP Assembly, Rama said that when the opening of Albania's negotiations with the EU is decided, it will be required how many corrupt magistrates have been punished by justice, because according to him, this number is zero. 

Furthermore, he reiterated the appeal to investigate former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, who is running for the leadership of the Democratic Party. 

During his speech, Rama also defended Ardian Dvorani, reported by President Ilir Meta earlier. 

"You know that SPAK had the lightning speed and extraordinary readiness to act minute by minute to block Ardian Dvorani, the man considered by the Secretary of State as one of the champions in the global fight against corruption to not allow to enter the process to be promoted as a judge. SPAK in a flash, as if it was coordinated like a Swiss clock with that gentleman who in a few weeks will leave the office of President. Issues under investigation, which were then blown up like a soap bubble. 

But how many judges and prosecutors fired by the vetting for unjustified assets would be in jail today. It has been a long time since the great sharks of the justice system are in their work, as no thorn in the side has entered. The first thing the EU says to Albania is how many corrupt judges and prosecutors have been convicted? Zero. The anti-corruption truck has been put under investigation by SPAK for a denunciation of the one who not but the whole of Albania can hardly wait to see in front of SPAK. 

Not to mention the big non-grata we have right in the middle of the square with his spear who told us that they do not sit down to negotiate with us for the president, but we did not give them the presidency. The issue of big non gratas is a problem not of America, but of Albania and the challenge in fact that the big non-grata with those young people who follow it do not do it to America. No, it's a challenge to justice, to the sense of justice in this country. And how much will we try, no matter how many investigations, denunciations, trials, sentences are given in this country for anyone, if in this country the big non-grata, the second one there that is the first one that SPAK has to deal with him, judges and prosecutors who have muddied the blood of the justice system in these 30 years do not go to justice, this is the problem of justice. 

And once we sit down at the negotiating table this will be the new song that will start. I repeat it to SPAK. You have to investigate for anyone who belongs to this political community, investigate, you have to bring before the court anyone who belongs to this political community, bujrum. But you are really entering extra time with the worst in this country. Evil qualifies so far and you are disqualified. What will end this country as it did before you were created SPAK, the Special Court or the new institutions of justice. This end of the SP will not leave two stones together to not allow it", said Rama.
