Police Takes Measures for Huge Pilgrimage to Church of Shna Ndou

In order to make the pilgrimage to the Church of Shna Ndou in Laç on June 12-13, the Lezha police has drafted a plan of measures to ensure public order and security. 

From 08:00 this morning until tomorrow at midnight will be restricted some road segments on the movement and parking of vehicles from some axes of the city to the church of Shna Ndou. 

Only public transport vehicles, vehicles of high state figures, civil emergency vehicles, fire brigade, ambulance and police will be allowed to circulate in these axes. 

Measures taken as follows: 

- From 08:00 on 12.06.2021– at 24:00 on 13.06.2021, some road segments will be restricted on the movement and parking of vehicles which are: 

"From the intersection of the Court - The Church of St. Ndout" 

"From the intersection of the Polyclinic - Church of Shna Ndout" 

"From the intersection of the high school - Church of Shna Ndout" 

"From Palace 113 - Church of Shna Ndout" 

In these road segments will circulate only public transport vehicles (bus / taxi) licensed and designated by the Municipality of Laç, Church vehicles, vehicles of high state personalities, civil emergency vehicles, fire brigade, ambulance and police. 

The Local Police Directorate of Lezha requires the understanding of drivers, to use axes and other directions of movement, as it would be considered a very valuable help in the progress and guarantee of road safety measures. 

- From the Gymnasium Crossing to the Cemetery Crossing will be a pedestrian-only road. 

- High tonnage vehicles will not be allowed to enter from the Patoku Overpass to the city of Laç as they become a cause of road traffic blockage. 

- The vehicles will be parked in the parking lot designated by the Municipality of Laç. Parking will not be allowed in places that become an obstacle to the free movement of vehicles.
