Recently, the president of the Albanian Football Association (AFA), Armand Duka reacted by saying that a friend left and that his energy will be lacking in the football community. 

"A few hours ago I received the bad news that my good friend, the President of Elbasan that he loved so much, Arben Laze, left us. It is difficult and now for me to believe and write these words about a good man, full of humor and optimism, who contributed so much to Albanian football. 

Ben was a friend to all of us, a man who did not give up easily on responsibilities and challenges. His energy will be lacking in the football community. In this difficult moment for his family, his many friends, we pray that his soul rests in peace. Goodbye, my friend, I will miss you! ”
