President of the Republic, Ilir Meta has organized Monday a solemn ceremony for awarding the title "Grand Master" to some prominent former football players of KF Tirana. 
 

From Osman Mema, to Bedri Omuri, Milan Baçi, Edmond Dizdari, Mirel Josa, Artur Lekbello and Krenar Alimehmeti. 

Meta has expressed the highest considerations for the former footballers, remembering that he has followed them himself and supported them on the steps of the stadium as a fan, and even for a while as a commentator. 

"I have the honor to appreciate some of the footballers, who are fondly remembered. 

-Today we honor Osman Mema, from the family that over the years has produced quality footballers, with a Grand Master title. Osman Mema has been an excellent defender of sports, civic and democratic values. 

-We appreciate also Bedri Omuri, a high-class professional player, from defense to astonishing goal scorer.

-The tireless, the king of the right-wing, Milan Baçi.

-The prominent goal scorer, teacher, coach, Edmond Dizdari. 

-The talented footballer, the correct player, Mirel Josa. Even today we find ourselves remembering his goal with Great Belgium.
