President Meets Outgoing Polish Ambassador
President of the Republic, Ilir Meta met Wednesday with the Ambassador of Poland in Tirana, Karol Bachura, on the occasion of the end of his diplomatic mission.
Through a message on "Facebook", President Meta states that he thanked the ambassador for the supportive position of Poland for the European integration processes of Albania and the Western Balkans as a whole, as well as for the assistance and support of Poland, especially in the framework of V4 and V4-WB6.
"I had the pleasure to meet today with the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Albania, Karol Bachura, on the occasion of the completion of His diplomatic mission.
I appreciated His role and contribution in strengthening bilateral relations, underlining the very good level and importance of their further strengthening for the benefit of the peoples and our countries.
I thanked Poland for its supportive stance on the European integration processes of Albania and the Western Balkans as a whole, as well as for Poland's assistance and support, especially in the framework of V4 and V4-WB6.
Very happy with the statistics and the growing interest of Polish tourists to visit Albania, I assured them that we welcome an even larger number of them to turn Albanian tourism and Albania into their favorite destination.
I thanked the Ambassador for Poland's assistance in rebuilding the areas affected by last year's earthquake, as well as for his valuable assistance in coping with the COVID-19 pandemic in our country," Meta noted.
