Serbian PM Arrives in North of Kosovo
Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic arrived in North Mitrovica this Monday. The permission for her visit was given by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo.
"The granting of the visit permit is based on the agreement regarding the mutual visits of political representatives between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia", according to the ministry.
According to the announcement made by the so-called Office for Kosovo in the Government of Serbia, Bernabi? will pay a one-day visit to the northern municipalities of Kosovo, namely North Mitrovica, Zveçan and Leposavic.
Petar Petkovic, director of this office, will also be on the visit.
"The Prime Minister will visit the first multimedia center in the north of Kosovo... After that, she will visit the Banjska Monastery in the Municipality of Zveçan", the announcement states.
The Office for Kosovo in the Government of Serbia said that Bernabi?'s visit was announced on Thursday, 72 hours before the visit "according to the agreement on official visits".
Today, the Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Besnik Bilslimi and the Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci will visit the Presheva Valley.
