A dead shark, up to 3 meters long, washed ashore in the area of the old beach in Vlora this Friday. 

The shark was dead when it was noticed by passers-by.

Based on the reports, no injuries were observed on the sea predator's body and the causes that led to its death are not known. 

Citizens alerted the city's environmentalists and the Protected Areas Administration, which removed the shark from the beach. 

Meanwhile, an expert examination is expected to find out its cause of death.
