Sixty People Escorted to Police for Fraud through Call Center

Last night, the police escorted 60 employees of a Call Center in Tirana. It is learned that the company where the escorts were made is registered in the name of an Israeli citizen.

Sources suggest that the employees were employed on behalf of an Israeli company called ‘RG Capital’. The operation is spread through call centers known as stock exchanges or called "Forex".

Criminal proceedings have been initiated by the Central Directorate of Investigation in the State Police. The operation started in the afternoon hours of Thursday and is ongoing, while the employees who have been escorted to the police, are being interrogated. It is suspected that people with non-Albanian citizenship are also involved, while they are charged with the crime "Computer fraud with serious consequences".

About a month ago, the police finalized an operation for computer fraud through the Call Center in Shkodra, where 8 people were handcuffed. These people from a 1-year period had created a scheme led by the Pole Pawek Wziontek, who had recruited as managers the Albanians Ysniela Dalipi, Klodian Memo and Nikolin Toma.

This scheme was practiced in various locations and consisted of computer fraud through various programs and platforms such as Vicidial, Forex and Exchange, to the detriment of foreign nationals, mainly German and Spanish.
