SP Thanks Israel for Recognition of Kosovo

Chairman of Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla received in a meeting this Monday the new Ambassador of Israel, Noah Gal Gendler, where both of them praised the bilateral relations between the two countries.

During the meeting, Balla also expressed his gratitude to the ambassador for the great step of Israel for the recognition of Kosovo, announced in the framework of the Washington Agreement between Kosovo and Serbia.

Furthermore, Balla also welcomed Israel's agreements to normalize relations between the United Arab Emirates and most recently with Bahrain. At the meeting, Balla informed Ambassador Gendler of MP Gjylameti and his initiative to organize an international high-level conference on an issue of global importance, such as Anti-Semitism.

"I would like to note with great pride a very good level of cooperation between our two Parliaments and the concretization of this good level of relations in the economic aspect, where we note a growing interest of Israeli investments in the economic sector as well as in the energy and university sector.

I take this opportunity to thank Prime Minister Netanyahu and the state of Israel for the important step towards their recognition of the state of Kosovo, which is an important step given the weight and importance of Israel," Balla emphasized.
