Special Prosecutor's Office has arrested two employees of the Traffic Police in Tirana for abuse of office and corruption. 

The officers took money from the drivers to give them a license that had been revoked for violation of the traffic code. 

At the request of the Prosecutor's Office, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime with decision no. 12 dated 16.02.2023 has assigned security measures "arrest in prison" for citizens: 

1. Eljo Picoku, suspected of the criminal offense "Exercising illegal influence on persons exercising public functions", provided by article 245/1 paragraph 4 of the Criminal Code. 
2. Amarildo Lika, suspected of the criminal offense "Exercising illegal influence on persons exercising public functions", provided by article 245/1 paragraph 4 of the Criminal Code.
