SPAK Requires 3 years in Jail for Former Mayor of Himara, Jorgo Goro
The Special Prosecution against Corruption (SPAK) required three years of jail for the former mayor of Himara, Jorgo Goro.
The last is accused by this prosecution and he is actually in jail for 'abuse of duty'.
According to SPAK, Goro in collaboration with his employees at the Cadastre of Himara through the falsification of documents, made possible the transfer of significant areas of state land in Himara to private owners, properties owned by a company owned by Artan Gaçi, husband of socialist MP Olta Xhaçka, who gained the status of strategic investor. These assets have been seized at the request of SPAK.
At the same time, SPAK urged the confiscation of the properties seized so far.
