Tabaku Reveals Violations Related to Fier Incinerator
The chairwoman of the Committee of Inquiry for Incinerators, Jorida Tabaku, revealed through a press release, the violations identified during the fourth session of the examination of witnesses in the committee, this time regarding the Fier incinerator.
Tabaku stressed that during the investigations carried out for the incinerator of Fier, the mayor Armando Subashi was involved, who offered the concession company 10 different lands for the construction of the plant and then selected what was not state land to compensate the owner with double of market price.
"Who bears the burden of this poorly implemented contract? I have the communication from the property registration office in Fier, the mayor makes 10 public lands available for the concession company and chose a land that has an owner. He then compensates it with double the value and returns it to industrial land. The company which made the unsolicited offer, is owned by the citizen Sefi Zani. After she makes an unsolicited offer, she leaves and the company is bought by Klodian Zoto. One week after receiving the concession, the shares are sold for 200 euros for a 28 million euro concession contract.
Today we also interviewed Lorant Dusha, and from the interview, apart from the part I do not know, I remember, Dusha also appears as an employee of the company "Hermes Communications". In his testimony, he does not remember how he paid 23 million euros to Klodian Zoto, how he made fictitious payments, how they received salaries when they did not work, how they received a 20 million euro advance when the incinerator does not work", said Tabaku.
