The Infectious Disease Hospital in Tirana started to fill again with Covid-19 patients as health authorities begged people to get vaccinated. Doctor Esmeralda Meta aid that actually this hospital has 46 admitted coronavirus patients, while even the hospital’s current COVID-19 intensive care unit is filling up even with young people.

"There is an increased number of those people that need hospitalization due to Covid-19. We have hospitalized people in their 20s and up to in their 80s. All those who were hospitalized needed oxygen. They arrived on the second week of the disease, considered the most dangerous phase," said doctor.

According to her, people must get the Covid-19 jab as new infections are rising day by day.
