At the Mayors' Summit being held in Barcelona, the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, held a meeting with Beppe Sala, the mayor of Milan, with whom he discussed joint projects, education, economy and tourism. 

"I met with Beppe Sala, the iconic mayor of Milan, at a time when our cities are closer than ever in joint Euro-projects, education, economy and tourism.
