The mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, is in Ohio, United States of America, to support the elite athletes of Tirana, in their preparations for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. 

It is learned that afterwards, Veliaj will travel to New York, to participate in the "Strong Cities" Summit, where the development of cities in the last decade will be discussed, including crisis management and other challenges. 

He will also hold meetings with leaders and representatives of cities that have experienced significant growth and development in the last decade. 

Discussions at the Summit will focus on challenges and opportunities related to managing urban growth, including crisis response and infrastructure innovation.
