Tirana Police has finalized 2 police operations within 12 hours against criminal activity in the field of narcotics, arresting two people and prosecuting another, as announced Tuesday. 

During the police operation codenamed "Yellow pack", Vitor Kaci, 46 years old resident of Lezha, was handcuffed for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics", and 1 kg and 15 grams of suspected cocaine were seized. 

Meanwhile, during the police operation codenamed "Plastic", Rediol Duka, 26 years old, resident in Tirana, was handcuffed for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics" and another was prosecuted at large, and his case was seized. suspected narcotic cocaine, divided into doses, ready for sale. 

The officers, during body search on these citizens found and seized, as material evidence, doses of suspected narcotic substance cocaine, ready for sale. 

After the verifications, it turned out that these law breakers, after getting cocaine, divided it into doses, which they sold in different areas of Tirana.

The operations were conducted by the Narcotics Investigation Section at DVP Tirana. 

During the police operation codenamed "Yellow pack" 1 citizen was handcuffed and 1 kg and 15 grams of suspected narcotic substance cocaine were seized. 

During the police operation codenamed "Plastic", 1 citizen was handcuffed and another was released, as well as the suspected narcotic substance cocaine, divided into doses, ready for sale. 

Specialists for Narcotics Investigation, following the work to crack down on criminal activity in the field of narcotics, after a thorough investigative work, successfully organized and finalized the police operations codenamed "Yellow pack" and "Plastic". 

As part of the police operation codenamed "Yellow pack", the citizen was arrested in flagrante delicto: 

- V. K., 46 years old, resident in Lezha, for the criminal offense “Production and sale of narcotics. 

In “Asim Vokshi” street, the Police services have located and arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen V. K., 46 years old, who, during the physical control, was found and seized, as material evidence, 1 kg and 15 grams of suspected narcotics cocaine. 

From the verifications performed, it resulted that this citizen, in cooperation with other persons, still unidentified, after providing quantities of narcotics weighing 2-3 kg, divided it into doses, which were then sold in different areas of the capital and the city of Lezha. 

Work is underway to identify and apprehend other persons implicated in this criminal activity.

As part of the police operation codenamed "Plastic", the citizen was arrested in flagrante delicto: 

- R. D., 26 years old, resident in Tirana, for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics". 

Also, the citizen I. Zh., 43 years old, resident in Tirana, was prosecuted at large. 

During the physical control by the Police services, these citizens were found and seized, as material evidence, doses of suspected narcotic substance cocaine, ready for sale. 

After the verifications, it turned out that these citizens, in cooperation with each other, after providing cocaine, divided it into doses, which they sold in different areas of Tirana. 

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office, for further procedural actions", said the police.
