Traffic Police Call on Drivers to Avoid Tirana Center
Tirana Traffic Police has asked the drivers to avoid moving as much as possible towards the center, on the main roads in the capital.
The Traffic Police inform that due to the activities in the “Skanderbeg” square, there is an increased flow of vehicles and pedestrians, which has led to occasional traffic jams.

Due to the activities that take place in "Skanderbeg" square, there is an increased influx of vehicles, but also pedestrians, who enter in different directions, outside the designated crossings, which has occasionally led to traffic jams.
Tirana Traffic Police, based on the increase of vehicles coming in the direction of Tirana or citizens coming from abroad, for holidays and vacations, in order to avoid traffic jams in the Small Ring Road, require the understanding of drivers to avoid as much as possible the movement towards the center, specifically the entrance from:
- The Durres Street;
- Kavaja Street towards “Ibrahim Rugova” Street;
- Boulevard "Zogu I Parë" towards the "Urani Pano" street ;
- Dibra Street towards 9-floor-buildings;
- Boulevard "Dëshmorët e Kombit" towards the "Abdi Toptani" street;
- Elbasan Street towards 9-Floor-Buildings.
The Traffic Police invite the citizens to report to 112 of the Digital Commissariat, any violation of the traffic, guaranteeing them an immediate and impartial reaction.
