Two giant "B52" planes of the USA will fly on the morning of August 22 over Skënderbej square in order to honor the Albanians in the context of the 100th anniversary of relations between the two countries. 
 

Through an announcement on social networks, the American embassy says that the exact time of their flight will also be announced, while inviting citizens to see the spectacle that will be presented by the two giant planes to the USA.

"Salute the skies on Monday! Adults and kids alike, don’t miss a dazzling military performance, and come to watch the flyover of two U.S. B-52s from Skanderbeg Square on Monday, August 22. We will announce the precise time here on our page on Monday morning! What better way to honor 100 years of U.S.-Albania diplomatic relations, our flourishing defense relationship, and our common NATO values. The B-52s, which for over 60 years have been the backbone of the U.S. strategic bomber force, will make their way through the friendly skies of southeastern Europe, and right here to Albania," the embassy said.
