State Police has put in handcuffs Sunday two citizens with initials F. Sh., 65 years old and E. Sh., 41 years old, both residents of Gjerbës village in Skrapar, who were stealing electricity.

Law enforcement informed that the officers organized the work and exercised control in the houses of the above citizens, where they found illegal electricity connections.

At the end of the first investigative actions, the officers arrested two citizens for the criminal offense "Theft of electricity".

Meanwhile, the materials have been forwarded to the Berat Judicial District Prosecutor's Office for further legal action against the arrested perpetrators.

“Skrapar Police Services, based on the information received that two citizens were receiving electricity through illegal connections, together with OSHEE employees, organized the work and exercised control over the apartments of citizens F. Sh. and E. Sh., where they found illegal electricity connections.

At the end of the first investigative actions, the specialists of the Crimes Section arrested in flagrante delicto the citizens F. Sh., 65 years old and E. Sh., 41 years old, both residents of Gjerbës, Skrapar, for the criminal offense 'Theft of electricity'”, said the police.
