Two small wildfire hotspots have been reported in an area above the Abaze neighborhood in Krujë, with firefighting efforts already underway, according to local authorities.

The Municipality of Krujë said crews will also intervene in the surrounding forested area during the day to fully extinguish the remaining hotspots and prevent other fires from reigniting.

Authorities said the situation currently poses no threat to residents or populated areas.

However, officials described the situation as unpredictable and said teams are continuing to monitor the area closely to prevent the flames from spreading.

Authorities remain on the ground as efforts continue to bring the fires fully under control.
