US Ambassador Yuri Kim went this Thursday to the premises of the SPAK (Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption). Ambassador Kim has had meetings with the special prosecutors of this structure as well as its leader, Arben Kraja. 

"I met Arben Kraja and the prosecutors at SPAK to reiterate the support for their important work. Despite threats and attempts at incitement, SPAK is focused on delivering more results, which show that no one, regardless of rank or wealth, is above the law. No more impunity," writes Yuri Kim. 

We remind you that this Thursday was the deadline for the submission of candidacies for the head of SPAK, after the end of Arben Kraja's mandate. 

The three prosecutors, Adnan Xholi, Altin Dumani and Edvin Kondili, have submitted candidacies for the head of SPAK.
