The team of the US embassy in Tirana welcomed this Friday the new charge d'affaires David Wisner and his family in Albania. 

In a reaction on social networks, Wisner said that for him it is a privilege to serve in Albania, adding that he is looking forward to learning more about history and culture.

"The team at U.S. Embassy Tirana welcomed new Chargé d’Affaires David Wisner and his family to Albania today.

Mr. Wisner said it is an honor to serve in Albania and he looks forward to learning more about its remarkable history and culture. The Embassy will continue to build on its partnership with Albania to advance democracy, defence, and business ties.
