Very soon, Tirana will have a large square at the end of New Boulevard. The good news was given by the mayor Erion Veliaj himself, who published a photo of how this square will look in the final, which is expected to be another attraction in the capital. 

"With the help of the government of Qatar, which approved us a grant of 11 million euros, we will soon start the WORK for the realization of the project of the end square on the New Boulevard! Grateful to the Emir of Qatar, Al Thani, but also to the ambassador in Tirana, Al-Marri. Tirana will have the ceremonial square it deserves", writes Veliaj. 

The new square will be built at the end of New Boulevard, along the Tirana River, and there will be some pedestrian spaces for citizens. Also, parks will be created on both sides of the river, as well as other recreational and entertaining spaces for children and adults.
