Volleyball Player Caught with Firearms, Cocaine in Shijak
The 26-year-old who fell into the hands of the police this Monday after being caught with firearms, ammunition and cocaine turns out to be a well-known volleyball player.
Eraldo Vora has been part of the Partizan volleyball team, but for this season he is not federated with any club.
Police Notice:
Pursuant to the plan of measures for increasing the security parameters in the city, arresting persons moving with firearms and cracking down on criminal activity in the field of narcotics distribution, the Operational Force and Narcotics structures in Durrës, in cooperation with the Commissariats of Durrës and Shijak Police, based on the information received on the operational road, have well organized the work and have successfully finalized the police operation codenamed "Sallmone", within which the citizen was arrested in flagrante delicto:
Eraldo Vora, 26 years old, resident in Sallmone, Shijak, after during the control exercised in the vehicle type "Audi", with which this citizen was circulating, a pistol firearm, 1 comb and 10 bullets were found and seized.
Following the control, in the apartment of the citizen Eraldo Vora, the Police services have found and seized as material evidence about 14 gr. suspected cocaine, 1 electronic scale, a metal stick and other illegal items. Also, in the apartment of this citizen was found illegal electricity connection.
The materials were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office of the Durrës Judicial District, for the criminal offenses "Illegal possession of weapons", "Illegal possession of cold steel", "Production and sale of narcotics" and "Electricity Theft".
