The stadium designed by the Belgian studio, XDGA, has been selected as the winner in the International Competition for the 'Flamurtari Stadium' in Vlora. The modern facility will serve for football, but it will also be a multi-functional center. 

There will be three levels of buildings: starting from the stadium, to the training field, but also a structure around it, which will also serve as a promenade. The project also includes hotels, bars, shops and will be surrounded by four new towers and a swimming pool. 

The Belgian studio has been active in Albania, mainly in Vlora, where it also worked on the Lungomare project. From the designers, the 'Flamurtari' plant has been designated as a stadium within the neighbourhood. The structure will be iconic, but above all it fulfils the conditions of feasibility, being closer to the financial requirements of the project for the city of Vlora. 

Prime Minister Rama said that the "Selman Stërmasi" construction site will soon be opened in Tirana. "With these interventions, we intend to gain not only new stadiums, but also new centers of social and economic life. After these projects, we will sit down with the president and the Association and study what will be the wagons of this train whose locomotive is in "Air Albania" in Tirana. Soon we will also open the construction site of Tirana's second stadium", said Rama.
