Another Albanian doctor has lost the battle with the coronavirus this Thursday -the pulmonologist, Flutura Hashorva.

The doctor passed away in the hospital "Shefqet Ndroqi", while for 48 years she was in the profession of a pulmonologist, serving at the Sanatorium, Dispensary, and then in a private clinic in Tirana. 

Regarding her death, friends and relatives of the doctor have reacted, who say that she was always distinguished for her professionalism and good communication with colleagues and patients. 

"Another bad news for the medical community. Today passed away Dr. Flutura Hashorva, pulmonologist, who served in the first pulmonology ward at QSUT together with the honorable Prof Elez Selimi. 

In 1983 she was transferred to the lung hospital, the former sanatorium and then to the Tirana dispensary. Dr. Flutura was always distinguished for her professionalism, good communication both with colleagues and patients. 

She contributed to the fight against this terrible virus until the day she became infected herself. Colleagues with whom she worked for many years at the Shefqet Ndroqi University Hospital tried hard but could not break free from the clutches of death. 

We will always remember our dear colleague and friend," stated one of her friends.
