Footballer of Albanian origin, Xherdan Shaqiri, scored in the Serbia-Switzerland match in the group stage in the 19th minute.

After Sou's assist, he rattled the Serbia net and put his team ahead. Through this goal, Shaqiri joins the Argentine star Lionel Messi and the Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo. 

He is the third player to score in each of the last three World Cup tournaments, namely in 2014, 2018 and now 2022.
