'Wine Vision Open Balkans' International Fair Finishes
The "Wine Vision Open Balkans" international fair, which took place in Belgrade as part of the Open Balkans Summit, ended this Sunday
The wine fair was opened on September 1 by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and Macedonian Prime Minister Dimitar Kovaceski.
About 400 wine producers from more than 22 different countries of the world participated in the fair. 160 producers were from Serbia, 26 from Albania, while 47 exhibitors were from North Macedonia.
In addition to the member countries of the Open Balkans, there were also exhibitors from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, France, Chile, Argentina, Italy, Romania, Moldova, South Africa and other countries.
Food was also in focus, as a kind of tradition, with five master chefs from North Macedonia, Serbia and Albania. In this activity there were buyers from the EU, USA, China and other countries from the East. On the second day of Open Balkans in Belgrade, the political part of the Summit was held.
Agreements on food security mechanisms and trade freedom in the Western Balkans were signed at the Summit.
1-Agreement on food security between the Republic of Serbia, the Republic of Albania and the Republic of North Macedonia. (The agreement was signed by the ministers of agriculture of the respective countries)
2-Memorandum of Understanding in the field of cinematography and audiovisual activities in the Western Balkans. (The agreement was signed by the ministers of culture of the respective countries)
3-Agreement on cooperation in the field of mining and Energy. (The agreement was signed by the Ministers of Infrastructure and Energy of Albania and Serbia)
4- The inter-operative plan in the field of civil emergencies between the Republic of Serbia, the Republic of North Macedonia and the Republic of Albania. (The agreement was signed between the Deputy Minister and the head of the Department of Emergencies, Serbia, the Deputy Director of Civil Emergencies of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Director of the National Agency of Civil Emergencies of Albania)
