Albania’s Ministry of Interior has announced Monday that there are 50 vacancies for the position of "guard", while applications will be open until November 20.

Applicants must be younger than 30 years old, and must meet certain physical criteria, while the lowest education accepted is secondary.

"50 VACANCIES ARE ANNOUNCED FOR BASIC LEVEL EMPLOYEES IN THE REPUBLIC GUARD - Applications open until November 20, 2021.

I. CRITERIA THAT CANDIDATES MUST MEET:

a) be an Albanian citizen;

b) have full capacity to act;

c) be equipped with a certificate of reliability;

ç) to have completed secondary education;

d) be 19-30 years old; be of body length not less than 175 cm for males and 170 cm for females;

dh) to be medically fit to perform service in structures that, according to the law, are allowed to carry weapons;

e) not to be convicted by a final decision for committing a crime or for committing a criminal offense intentionally;

ë) not to be prosecuted;

f) not to have been fired or dismissed for legal or disciplinary violations;

g) has not been deprived of the right to exercise functions in the public administration by a final court decision.

The applicant who does not meet even one of the above criteria, does not qualify and should not continue the application.

II. DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED BY CANDIDATES: Applicants must submit in the first stage of the competition the following documents:

1) Application and Application Form that you download online

2) CV (Curriculum vitae)

3) Copy of ID card

4) High school diploma or list of grades, cycled in the District Education Directorate, photocopied and notarized.

5) Certificate from the Court

6) Certificate from the Prosecution

7) Ability report at work (according to appendix V, of DCM no. 596, dated 04.09.2019), by the family doctor.

8) Evidence of qualifications completed (if any)

9) Personal statement on the purity of the image (To be completed when the applicant submits for testing)

10) Two photos (9 X 12) with shirt and collar.

The documents will be sent by mail to the address: "Guard of the Republic, Rruga e Elbasanit, Palace of Brigades, Tirana", within 20.11.2021.

III. REVIEW OF DOCUMENTATION AND COMPLAINT PROCESS

- The deadline for reviewing and verifying the documentation is 3 working days from the closing of the application deadline.

- The applicant, who does not meet the criteria and has not submitted the required documentation within the application deadline, is disqualified. - The applicant has the right to appeal within 2 days from the date of notification of the response. The appeal commission reviews and responds within 5 days from the date of receipt of the complaint by phone or e-mail.

IV. CANDIDATE TESTING

Qualified candidates in the phase of submitting documents, must appear at 08:00 on 23.11.2021, at the address: 'Vocational Training and Qualification Center of the Republic Guard, Mullet, Tirana'.

Candidates will be tested in three stages:

- Assessment of health skills

- Interviews and psychological tests

- Testing of physical abilities

The applicant is disqualified in the following cases:

a) does not pass the health examination;

b) does not pass the psychological test;

c) does not pass the physical ability test;

d) does not appear at the appointed time in one of the testing phases;

V. MANNER OF EVALUATION OF CANDIDATES

Candidates applying to qualify, must achieve a minimum score of 50 points in the basic physical testing. The ranking of the candidates will be done according to the descending order of points”, as quoted from the notification.
