Albania reported more than 20 deaths Sunday - one of the most virus-related deaths reported in one day since the pandemic's start. This is the fourth day in a raw of high number of daily deaths from the disease, according to the Health Ministry data, while the number of people who have been infected topped more than 107.000.

According to the Health Ministry, 952 people have tested positive of the disease from 3805 tests realized by public and private hospitals nationwide. Most of the cases were identified in Tirana (408), Vlore (53), Durres (39), Kruje (36), Fier, Elbasan and Lushnje (28), etc.

Unfortunately 21 people died and the number of those hospitalized due to Covid-19 reached highest levels ever 662, 49 of whom are at intensive therapy, while 14 are put on ventilators. 

Most of the victims last 24-hours are from Tirana (9), Kurbini (2), Berat (2), Tepelene, Fier, Peqin, Erseke, Elbasan, Dibra, etc.

Vaccination process continues as 1028 people were vaccinated bringing the total number of those vaccinated up to 13.495.
