Albania National Team was promised a huge bonus of EUR 3 million if they succeed in qualifying for World Cup Qatar 2022, marking a historic moment. 

Albania has started the qualifying edition towards the World Cup, "Qatar 2022". In the first three matches, the red and blacks have performed well in terms of points, beating Andorra and San Marino, and losing with a big team such as England.

Albania is listed in Group I together with England, Hungary, Poland, Andorra and San Marino. Apart from England which is considered as the big team of the group, Albania has chances to compete with all other teams in order to try for second place which leads through the next phase of the World Cup. 

If this is to happen, then Albania would mark another historic moment in football, following the qualification for the first time in another big competition such as UEFA Euro 2016.
