The European Youth Swimming Championship was held in Rome, Italy, in which the Albanian representative participated with 10 athletes, 6 of whom were boys and 4 girls. The results of our national team were satisfactory, seeing that it was attended by athletes from all over Europe and they have an earlier tradition in this sport. 

Our team, even in the 4 × 100 relays, has managed to break the National record, showing a good performance in this championship. Once again in these competitions, the Albanian swimmer Dalvi Elezi excelled, who took second place in the 100 and 200 meters, making a dignified appearance in these competitions. Elezi also performed well in other styles. 

Elezi is seen as one of the most talented and promising swimmers of this sport in our country and his performances have increased, both in terms of national and international competitions. 

It seems that recently due to the good work being done by the leaders and the talented generation of swimmers, the chances are that we will have other increasing results, not only in terms of individual but also team aspect.
