Albanian PM Rama Visits Kosovo Ahead of Independence Day, Meets Kurti and Osmani
Albania’s Prime Minister Edi Rama paid an official visit to Pristina on Monday, where he was received by his counterpart, Albin Kurti, just days after the confirmation of Kurti’s government.
Rama’s visit came one day ahead of Kosovo’s Independence Day, marked annually on Feb. 17.
During his stay in the capital, Rama also met with Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani. The leaders discussed issues of mutual importance for both countries, focusing on bilateral cooperation and regional developments.
In a public address delivered in Pristina, Rama commented on recent developments in The Hague concerning former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, stressing the importance of the judicial process and its broader impact on the region.
