The US Ambassador Yuri Kim attended the 8th Hemingway Jazz Festival last Tuesday night.

During her speech she described the environment in New Orleans, the place where jazz was born, and how this particular genre of music came from “breaking the rules and norms to create something unique and beautiful, something we all know as typical American”.

"Ambassador Kim spoke last night at the 8th Hemingway Jazz Festival, where she welcomed the public with a message about the history of jazz music and its role in American culture.
