Yuri Kim held on Wednesday the last conference before leaving the post as US ambassador to Albania.

US diplomat said that she is grateful that she had the opportunity to get to know the country, while also focusing on the justice reform, which she said is not perfect but is giving results.

"While fulfilling my mission, I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to get to know this country, visit all 61 municipalities and, like any ambassador, try to do my part in our common goals, in democracy, defense and business. Albania has undertaken difficult reforms, especially in justice, which gave the country the opportunity to open negotiations with the EU.

I have often said that justice reform is not easy, quick or perfect, but it is yielding results and your persistence is beginning to bear fruit. Don't stop. Keep moving forward step by step until you reach your goal. The US will be with you every step of the way," said the ambassador, among other things.
