American Ambassador to Tirana, Yuri Kim participated in the Education Congress and during her speech she guaranteed the support of the USA. 

Ambassador Kim said that support for education is as important as support for Justice Reform and the fight against corruption, adding that Albania has an extraordinary future. 

"Albania is at a critical point. 31 years since the end of communism. It is a different world, students are different, a future that must be different. 31 years ago, nobody thought of Albania in NATO, and today you sit next to US and other countries discussing the most important issues in the world. And just a month ago you opened negotiations for your rightful place in the EU. Education will be key to how much progress you make. Our support is also important for us, because we want to see you in Europe and support for education is as important as support for justice reform or the fight against corruption. In 31 years, Albanians and Americans have participated in several exchanges. Most importantly, they come here and see that Albania has a great future and the students have a great future. These steps have been important for the education system of Albania, for your future. You will see more American researchers and specialists coming this year," said Kim.
