Anti-Government Protests Escalate in Albania as Demonstrators March Toward Tirana–Durrës Highway

Protests against Prime Minister Edi Rama intensified on their 15th consecutive day, as demonstrators escalated their march beyond central Tirana and moved toward the outskirts of the capital.

After gathering at Skanderbeg Square, protesters continued marching through city streets before reaching the area known as the “Kthesa e Kamzës” near Kamëz.

The demonstration later advanced in the direction of the Tirana–Durrës Highway, marking a significant expansion of the protest route beyond central urban zones.

The latest movements come amid a broader wave of sustained demonstrations calling for political change and increased pressure on the government.
