Bajram Begaj to Become Third President from Army Ranks
Bajram Begaj seems to be the third president to come from the ranks of the army.
Although everything will be made official tomorrow, given the numbers that the majority has, 77 seats, it is not expected that there will be surprises, so that Begaj will be the third president of pluralism coming from the ranks of the army.
In 2002, following a SP-DP agreement, Alfred Moisiu, once General and Deputy Minister of Defense, became Head of State. While 10 years later, the late Bujar Nishani with a military background, led the Presidency for 5 years, also as the highest leader of the Armed Forces.
